Meet Becky
"My passion is to provide support to parents and aid them in helping their child to reach their full potential."
I was desperately searching for answers and ways I could improve my child's prognosis and quality of life. Through support groups on social media platforms I learned of ways other parents were seeing success in their children by addressing underlying health issues and was inspired to do the same for my child. Over the next few years we had many lifestyle and dietary changes. We worked with a biomedical doctor, ran diagnostics, and addressed metabolic and nutritional deficiencies, to name a few.
While improving his overall health, consequently his symptoms of autism began to dwindle. My son stepped out of his own world he had been lost in for so long and began to engage with us. His communication and social skills blossomed; he began to form relationships and his level of frustration significantly decreased now that he was able to express himself. As he progressed over the following years he no longer met the diagnostic criteria for an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. Today, my son is fully conversational, in a mainstream classroom with neurotypical peers, and meeting educational goals appropriate for his grade level. He has friends, plays organized sports, and is no longer confined to what we were told would be a life long diagnosis.
Through his journey I became passionate in wanting to help other ASD families to accomplish the same. I changed career paths and furthered my education to give me the tools to help you and your family. No matter where you are at in this journey, it is never too late to help your child get healthier and improve their quality of life!
